A post-event photo workflow that keeps sharing simple

The event is over. The photos still have a journey to make before they reach the people who care about them.

Finish the photographic decisions first

Back up your files, select the frames you intend to deliver, and edit them in the tools you already trust. Keep a record of what has been approved by the client if your contract calls for it. FaceSort does not replace that creative review.

When you upload only finished images, a guest gallery is easier to understand and you avoid circulating versions that will be replaced later.

Prepare the shared space

Create an event group, upload the first finished set, and check that the photos appear as expected. Give the client the right group access and invite any additional photographer as a contributor. If guests will join, prepare a short link or QR code with an explanation of what happens after joining.

A small pilot with the organiser catches permission mistakes before an invitation reaches the full audience.

Deliver in stages without starting over

A second camera, a delayed edit, or a guest's phone photo can arrive after the first handoff. Add it to the same group. FaceSort queues new uploads for face processing; it does not require a new run through images that are already done.

Check personal match galleries before sharing them publicly. Then tell the client where new photos will appear and whom to contact if something is missing.

THE PRACTICAL TAKEAWAY

Keep creative review and gallery delivery as separate jobs. Finish the frames in your normal editing tools, upload approved images into the event group, test access with the organiser, and add later batches without rerunning the already processed photos.
