Start with the right link
A group invite is for joining an event with a role and access level. A personal gallery link is for showing a set of photos matched to one person. In FaceSort, the people-and-sharing step includes a Show all images action for a person and a way to create a public share link for that gallery.
You can also share a single photo. Neither case requires creating a separate fourth workflow step.
Check the gallery first
Face matching is based on similarity. A wrong match or a missing image can happen. Open the gallery as the recipient would see it, check the images, and decide whether the set is appropriate to send. This matters especially for private celebrations and workplace events.
The person in the photo should not learn about a mistake only after the link has spread.
Set a lifespan that fits
FaceSort share links can expire or remain active until revoked. Choose the shorter option when the handoff is temporary. If the audience changes or a link reaches the wrong person, revoke it from the owner workspace.
Send the link with context: “These are the photos we found of you from Saturday. Let me know if one looks wrong.” A thoughtful sentence is as valuable as the sharing button.
Use a group invitation when someone should join the event, and a person-gallery share link when you only want to show that person’s matched images. Review the gallery, set a useful expiry, and revoke the link if it reaches the wrong audience.
